Why would I create an account?

So we can keep a list of companies you use and the plain-English list of what you accepted. Browsing and pasting a URL stay free. Change alerts are not sending yet.

Can you tell when I tap Agree on another site?

No. We cannot see the Accept button on another company's site. If you just agreed, open that company here and tap “I accepted these terms.” That is how tracking starts.

What will you notify me about?

If you ask to be notified, we add an in-app notice when a watched privacy policy or terms of use changes. The same update appears on News. We are not sending email yet.

What does Fineprint use on this site?

We count page views with a first-party script. If you sign in, we use a session cookie. No ads, no sale of your data.
