We never share or sell your data
We will never sell your data. We will never share it with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone who pays us for a list of people. We do not run ads. Companies that help us run sign-in, hosting, and storage only get what they need to run this site — not a license to sell your data.
If you only browse
You can read companies, paste a public policy URL or the words from an agreement, and ask Clara without an account. We store the URL you submit long enough to fetch and grade the page. If you paste the words, we keep a snapshot long enough to grade them. That reading is not added to the public company list. We keep a snapshot of a public document so we can compare later versions. If we post a public briefing, we keep the official source URL and the short text we published. If you talk to Clara, we use your question only to write her reply.
Page views
We count visits with a first-party script from our host. It does not set an advertising cookie. We do not sell those counts.
If you create a Premium account
Signing in is handled by a sign-in service for Premium accounts. That sets a session cookie so we know it is you. We store the companies you save, whether you tapped “I accepted these terms,” and your notify preference. When a watched policy changes, we add an in-app notice and a News post. Premium email for those changes is included when billing opens — it is not sending yet.
Cookies
Necessary: a session cookie only after you sign in. Optional tracking cookies: none. The page-view script does not require you to accept a marketing cookie. You can keep using the public directory without signing in.
What we do not do
We do not run ads. We do not sell or share your company list. We do not watch the Agree button on another company’s site. We do not use Clara chats to train ads or build a profile to sell.
